Art Installation at Browns East fashion store

In May 2021 we were invited to help Browns East install their art exhibition Honey Wagon by Babak Ganjei.

This was a challenging art work installation as it involved a large grid of framed art works installed on a tall wall over a stairwell in the Browns East shop. The stairwell is used to access the second shop floor area additional to the main ground floor one and has regular footfall by visitors.

We needed to install aluminium scaffolding on the stairs in order to access the height required as it is difficult and dangerous to use ladders to access this height from stairs. As the scaffold width is limited, this meant also rebuilding the scaffold three times to be able to reach all the areas required.

It needed a team of three of our installers to complete this picture hanging project. Working through the night between the opening hours of the store.

We installed special hanging fixtures on each frame also to enable us to get the accurate grid look that was required for the exhibition.
