Seido Art Services was proud to provide specialist art installation services for the newly redesigned Italian Ambassador’s Residence in London, a prestigious project led by designer Nick Vinson within a Grade II-listed building dating back to 1868.

Seido Art Services was commissioned by a specialist art consultant to deliver installation services for approximately 300 artworks at an exclusive hotel in Saudi Arabia. The scope of works includes framed photographs, paintings, sculptures, and ceramics.

Protecting art in high-traffic public spaces requires careful planning. These areworks were where hotel guests might accidentally touch or lean on them. To address this risk while maintaining the visual appeal of the space, a custom acrylic protection solution was installed.

Installing this extra-large artwork presented several technical challenges. Measuring over 4.5 metres tall and 3 metres wide, the piece was paired with an oversized bespoke frame designed to fit over the installed work. Both the dimensions and weight required meticulous planning and careful coordination.

Large-scale hospitality art installation projects of this nature require far more than simply hanging artworks. They demand detailed logistical planning, strict sequencing, and close coordination with interior designers, main contractors, and hotel management to ensure artworks are installed safely, efficiently, and in line with the wider construction programme.

Art Installation at Browns East fashion store
We needed to install aluminium scaffolding on the stairs in order to access the height required as it is difficult and dangerous to use ladders to access this height from stairs. As the scaffold width is limited, this meant also rebuilding the scaffold three times to be able to reach all the areas required.

Our method included the use of our specialist stair ladder for working at the required height on the stairs and to get our accurate fixings we use a laser level from the landing.
